Our reception team

Emma Schuldt

Hotel Management Assistant

“You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.”

True to this belief, I set myself the goal every day of not only meeting our guests' expectations, but exceeding them whenever possible.

I rejoined the Birkenhof team in 2016 – and I do so with all my heart. After successfully completing my training as a hotel manager with additional qualifications in hotel management at the Birkenhof, I initially moved to the Frankfurt area, where I gained valuable experience at the Radisson Blu Hotel and the Hotel & Restaurant Gerbermühle, among others. My path also took me to Berlin for a short time – also to the Radisson Blu Hotel, once known for its impressive aquarium in the lobby. In the exciting world of chain hotels and design hotels, I was able to deepen my knowledge and further develop my passion for the profession.

After about ten years, I finally returned to my roots at the Birkenhof.
Working at the reception desk is more than just a job for me: as the central interface between all departments in the hotel, it is very multifaceted and challenging, but that is exactly what makes it so exciting, because no two days are the same here.

With a lot of joy, warmth and a genuine service ethos, I make sure that our guests feel completely at home from the moment they arrive. There's no room for boredom here, and that's exactly what makes this job so special.

Miriam Schörner

Hotel Management Assistant

My name is Miriam Schörner and I have been part of the team at Hotel Birkenhof since January 2019 – with a two-year break for parental leave. Since my return, I have been back at the reception desk, fully committed to serving our guests. I completed my training at the renowned Hotel Post in Aschaffenburg. After that, I was able to gain a wide range of experience in various establishments, including the Radisson Blu, Landhotel Klingerhof and Mainhaus Stadthotel Frankfurt.
These positions have had a lasting impact on my appreciation of quality, service awareness and hospitality.

For me, working at reception means more than just checking guests in and out. I am the first point of contact and can give our guests a good feeling right from the moment they arrive. I particularly appreciate the variety of my tasks and the personal contact with our guests.

With a smile, hospitality and good humour, I help to make their stay at the Birkenhof special right from the start.
