The Hotel & Restaurant Birkenhof Hanau-Steinheim not only offers beautiful rooms and excellent service, but also optimal parking facilities directly at the hotel. Our guests and restaurant visitors appreciate the convenient arrival and secure parking for their vehicles. Here you will find everything you need to know about parking spaces, underground parking and charging stations. Arrive relaxed and look forward to an all-round successful stay.

Your advantages when parking at Hotel Birkenhof:

There are eight parking spaces available directly in front of the hotel entrance, including one designated disabled parking space and three parking spaces for electric vehicles with up to 22 kW charging capacity. Every battery will be fully charged overnight, and we do not charge any blocking fees for our charging stations! If you would like to charge your electric vehicle, we will be happy to reserve one of the charging parking spaces for you in advance. Simply contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, and we will keep your parking space free even if you arrive late.

Our in-house underground car park covers 400 m² and has a total of 9 modern parking systems:

• 3 individual parking spaces, each with one parking space above and below
• 6 double parkers, each with two parking spaces above and below

A total of 30 parking spaces are available. The double parking systems are particularly space-saving, yet safe and convenient: simply place the car on the Parker with the front and rear without any overhang. You park as you would in a normal parking space (stable and reliable). Even when the Parker is moved up or down. The straight levels of the double parkers move up and down in parallel like a lifting platform. So you don't have to worry about your beloved car tipping over or even rolling away. Please apply the parking brake if the car does not do so automatically.

The maximum vehicle height is 1.80 m in the front area of the underground car park and 1.60 m in the rear area. However, in consultation with the reception, taller cars can also be parked safely on the upper levels of the double parking system. Just talk to us, we will be happy to advise you!
Convenient entry and exit even in winter

The underground car park entrance is heated, so you can drive in and out of the garage safely and easily even in heavy snowfall. In addition, you are always protected from wind and weather when parking in the underground car park. There is no need to scrape ice or clear snow in the morning, and your vehicle remains free of snow and ice. This is a decisive comfort advantage, especially in the winter months. Our bright lighting in the underground car park provides additional safety and orientation. Here, you are not parking in a dark concrete hole.

Both the underground car park and the parking spaces in front of the hotel entrance are monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day. From 10 p.m. onwards, we kindly ask you (also in the interests of our neighbours) to use our underground car park or the ample public parking spaces in front of the hotel on the street.
The roller door of the underground car park is closed in the evening to provide the best possible protection for your vehicle. If you arrive late, simply ring the bell at the underground car park door and our team will open it for you.

If the roller door is closed, simply pull the red ripcord hanging from the ceiling in the driveway. Don't expect too much, there's no parachute, it just opens the door.

Your hotel room card also allows you to open the roller door and gain direct access to the hotel. Thanks to the electric door between the underground car park and the hotel, you can arrive comfortably and barrier-free with your suitcases without having to climb stairs or ‘struggle’ with heavy fire doors. With our lift (pleasant 90 cm door width and comfortably large at 1.10 m x 1.40 m, even with suitcases), you can reach all floors of the main building (reception & rooms) comfortably and without climbing heavy stairs or balancing suitcases.

Our underground car park also has space for bicycles. You can park your bike here safely. There are two sockets available for charging e-bikes free of charge. Motorcycles can also be parked safely in the courtyard or underground car park.
