The new website for the Birkenhof Hotel and Restaurant in Hanau-Steinheim is now online. Technically, it is now based on TYPO3 v13 and Bootstrap 5. Special thanks go to Helmut Hackbarth for his outstanding TYPO3 extension t3sbootstrap, which we use extensively.
Web development is becoming increasingly complex: responsive design, SEO optimization, cookie management, and numerous technical requirements are now standard. At the same time, we want to offer authentic content with real images, real information, and texts with added value. AI tools such as ChatGPT can help, but high-quality content still requires careful human work. You can now see the result on our new website.

A project that continues to evolve
A website is never completely finished – just like our hotel and restaurant, which we are constantly improving and renovating. Our latest additions include our new hotelbar, the redesigned Sonneneck, new weatherproof awnings for the terrace, and other modernizations.
