Hospitality in Steinheim since 1975
Our house was built in the year of 1951 by the chief executive officer of DUNLOP. We specially mandated an architect from Birmingham to establish an english cottage.
In 1973 Mr. and Mrs. Fichtner bought their "Dörnröschen"- house and started with the rebuilding to a small hotel so that the opening with nine rooms was celebrated in 1975.
At that time the Von-Eiff-Straße was still called Jahn-Straße and a hotel room including breakfast cost DM 40,- at the opening.
Problems at the beginning did not fail to appear! The post had "forgotton" us in the telephone book! But we could also overcome this problem...
Up until 2000 we disposed over 23 rooms, since 2005 we have advanced the number of our rooms up to 46 through a newed home remodelling and we offer more comfort to our guests than before.
